Hitachi launches dealer-driven maintenance plan for select excavators

Hitachi excavators ranging from the ZX75US-5 to the ZX870LC-6 can now receive expert dealer maintenance at every 500-hour service interval.

The company launched its new ZX Secure Service Plan, aimed at simplifying machine upkeep for excavators owners, earlier this month.

“The new ZX Secure Service Plan can help lower long-term ownership expenses and unplanned downtime,” said Mark Wagner, manager of services business at Hitachi Construction & Mining. “The benefit of this program is that your machine stays efficient and reliable, so it can tackle the demands of jobs day-in and day-out and can help increase uptime which impacts customers’ bottom lines.”

Along with leaving maintenance to the experts, the plan helps ensure machines do not miss service intervals, ultimately boosting uptime and offering a lower cost of ownership over the life of the machine, the company says.

The new program launched in the U.S. and Canada this month.
